What challenges laid before them and where did they drew their inspiration from? This video materials show what was going on behind the scenes of Alice VR.REVIEWSHardcore GamerThe planet is filled with trippy touches and striking imagery. There’s an adorable robotic companion who pops up from time to time to offer cryptic advice, and tons of interesting environmental details. (...) People who want to explore a striking new land in a relaxing fashion will be in heaven here. Adding to this are some interesting puzzles. An early one that involved rearranging pieces of a coil to reactivate the ships engine was simple and clever. Traversal puzzles that goof around with gravity are a delight to solve as they force a level of three dimensional thinking that is satisfying to solve.VR FocusThe world that Carbon Studio has created is a fantastic mix of sci-fi architecture and bizarre dreamlike scenarios. The books inspiration can be seen everywhere, from the mechanical cat that occasionally appears to the out and out absurdly trippy experiences, sharks flying through the sky, menacing black and white forests, tunnels that twist and turn as your viewpoint changes, it’s a visual assault on the senses. Add to that the eerie audio score, and you have quite an engaging mixture.God is a GeekWith a five hour playthrough it’s one of the longer story-based VR titles, and with monitor support included, you can always experience the wacky world of Alice VR minus the VR. d859598525 Title: ALICE VRGenre: Adventure, IndieDeveloper:Carbon StudioPublisher:KlabaterRelease Date: 27 Oct, 2016 ALICE VR Activation Code [Password] alice vr gog download. alice vr crash. alice vr gog. alice mystery garden vr. alice vr pc game. vr alice in wonderland. alice mystery garden vr. alice vr vive. alice in wonderland stories vr. alice in wonderland vr london. alice vr recenze. alice vrablic. alice vr ps4. alice braga. alice disney vr. alice vr trailer. alice vr movie. alice in vr land. alice vr fitgirl repack. alice branch. alice vr solucja. alice vr system requirements. alice vr system requirements I liked the idea of this game - exploration is what VR was made for but I played for an hour and got sick and bored. Firstly I have an Oculus and Teleportation DOES NOT work. The website claims it does, there's even a button for it but it does nothing. Continuous motion moving around is a recipe for motion sickness - that's why every other game uses (or at least offers) teleport. Also, the game is pretty dull. The environments are pretty bland and don't really give you any feeling of exploring. In any given environment all the areas look pretty much the same with just a couple of repeating objects, a chair, a screen etc. Think Duke Nukem 3D type enviroments rather than anything modern. I regret buying this, even on sale, and I really wouldn't waste your time or money.. You want to puke all over the place? then definitely try this game!I have played a lot of VR titles, and I am usually really not sensitive to motion sickness with the Oculus. However, the controls of the game have been designed for a basic RPG (controlling the head with right stick, and the movement with the left stick), which, when turning the head, is the best way to create the worst puking feeling. I survived about 10 minutes before asking steam for a refund. And that was not even in the gravity bending puzzles.I am quite sad, as I was looking forward to a new game inspired from Alice, and another game in space.. Not full 90 FPS even with super build fury x. Looks good up close but view distance is garbage.. It really pains me to say this, but the game is a hot mess. It should be a gorgeous, amazing place to visit... but it's just so buggy. If you are using Oculus hardware, so much as pressing a button on your Touch controllers will crash the game instantly with a generic "Fatal Error". If you give up and just use a standard gamepad you can actually get IN to the game, but right away you'll experience painful, eye-twisting visual artifacts... where a reflection being rendered on one eye isn't being rendered on another. Also, this is very much a "walking simulator" style of game with adventure elements... it's ideal for something like the Omni treadmill, but I cannot for the life of me get the game to accept any input other than a standard XBox controller.I wanted to love this, but it's not playable. It's a buggy, crash-ridden mess. Such a bummer.. Okay so i have only played a little of the game but so far it seems cool. Firstly I should mention i'm playing on the Oculus Rift and it works easily and well. The turning does give me strange sensations as many games that don't use the tick turning technique. So far the puzzles are extreamly simple. Its essentialy a walking/driving game that has puzzle elements and its got some surreal elements as you would expect from an alice game. The story is interesting and theres some strange hints in some of the recordings you find so I'm deffinatly wanting to know what happened on the planet. Overall I think its an OK game. Its not brilliant but it is Okay.(remember I'm still early on in the game, just under an hour spent)) I think you will be playing this game for the story and to see the surreal elements (like flying sharks)My recomendation is if you like Alice in Wonderland and you liked the surreal elements (not the gameplay just the surreal attitude) of American Mcgee's Alice and you like walking/driving simulator with simple puzzles then this game is something that will deffinatly keep you entertained.p.s. I am finding the interesting points spaced out just right, but people who want a fast acting game will finding it slow and pottentialy boring. So be patient and just sit down when you have spare time and enjoy.. This game allegedly looks great on a monitor, but even with a GTX 980ti it looks fairly poor in VR, playing it on a HTC Vive and everything further than 3m away appears blurred making even the largish size font of signs hard to read until you're close. Additionaly, the blurring and pixelation of the graphics, combined with the 'gliding' motion and the continuous need for turning around, gave me an unpleasant dizzy feeling that meant I couldn't play for more than around 20-25 minutes at a time before having to take the Vive off and sit down for a while. As I was only able to make it just past the first driving segment, I feel I can't comment on the overall gameplay, but from the sections I have seen; Alice moves extremely slowly (possibly intentional to reduce VR sickness?) and I can only hope that the later 'puzzles' are more interesting because those that I've seen so far are laughably simple.TL;DR Solved 3 'puzzles' without realizing, got too dizzy, had to go lie down for an hour.. Great concept, poor execution. Would NOT recommend.Oculus headset works, but no Oculus Touch support (it crashes the game) and the devs have no intention of rectifying this.It is playable on a standard monitor, although Oculus does try to grab the process and divert sound to the headset if plugged in - Quickly quitting the auto-launched oculus handeler after launch will fix this.I gave up on this title about 45 minutes in, after being unable to exit a vehicle and then stuck in a buggy menu that launched when I was attempting to find a dismount/exit vehicle button.
